My wish is to be able to share the magic of art with others so that they might also experience the joy it has given me.

I am a native Iranian and shortly after the Islamic revolution broke out in Iran, I moved to Bonn Germany. There I began studying linguistics and international trade at the University of Cologne. I have been interested in painting my entire life and so I also pursued an informal art education through self-study and attending seminars conducted by notable German/Iranian artists. Through my interest in art and children, I instructed painting to children ages 12 to 16 while working for a non-profit organization in Bonn, Germany. I have held several art exhibitions in and around Bonn.

In 1998, I moved to Columbus Ohio. While here as a student, I continued my career as a painter.

My latest works are in the study of mythology and symbolism. They are currently on display in Columbus City Hall offices of councilwoman, Maryellen O'Shaughnessy, and former councilwoman, Jeanette Bradley.

Statement: In my art, I enjoy exploring new directions. Most of my paintings are expressions of my feelings (sadness, happiness, and love). I acquire my feelings through contact with people and nature. I try to bring the feeling out through color on canvas. With my life experiences, contact with different people from various cultures, and my interest in ancient history and mythology have given me new perspective and inspiration. I would enjoy sharing the magic of art with others so they might also experience the joy it has given to me.
